It’s the time of year for frosty scenes with magic in the air & this engagement session brought the best of both!

Jeannette and Ben love to tour his downtown DC neighborhood and travel back to Washington state (where she grew up!) to enjoy a different kind of outdoors.

Their Crystal Mountain engagement session was a time to soak in the sweetness of the season before getting back to the busy pace of life and wedding planning. And when it comes to planning, Ben started it all with such a surprise of a proposal!

It began with dinner at her favorite restaurant where a pedicab full of flowers met them for a ride through DC which ended at a pier. Waiting was a private boat that toured monuments by water. What Jeannette didn’t know was the first mate was secretly a photographer ready to capture the moment Ben proposed as they floated alongside the Lincoln Memorial. The surprise continued as they docked in Georgetown where friends were waiting to celebrate!
