The experience of my own aisle moment is the reason why I choose to document weddings:
I looked up from my mama’s embrace to see my future husband walking away from the altar...he was coming to meet us halfway down the aisle. This made journeying toward an act of faith something we did together, a foundation for the ones to follow. Revisiting photographs brings back every racing heartbeat, well of happy tears, and warmth from favorite embraces.
