It’s crazy to think today marks the start of another new year; the older we get the quicker moments seem to come and go! 2014 was a year to learn, grow, miss & most importantly love.
It was a year to grow my confidence in making big decisions and sticking to them. It was a year to take the step I’ve dreamed of & make my photography business a full time venture. It was a year to miss my husband as he spent the greater part of it training away from home. It was a year to make a cross country move from Seattle to Georgia to be able to spend time closer to him once again. It was a a year to say farewell to friends (just for now!) and make new ones along the way. It was a year to see love and the promise of forever spread in our family and capture it, too ♡ It was a year to photograph more happy tears, “I do’s” and first dances than ever before. Overall, it was one I won’t soon forget!
Shelby Schmidt Imagery grew to Something Minted Photography, with the shift to specializing in one type of photography: weddings. I was excited for design in re-branding but didn’t want to loose sight of why I first started this business. To help others feel the love and beauty that surrounds them and offer photos to break out if only to be reminded of your legacy of love.
