Hints of green and navy, cream & anemones all around found us for this wedding in Washington’s desert.
With vows exchanged only between each other moments after a tear-filled first look, Kim and Nate’s wedding was one of such love and sentimental touches. I loved hearing the story of how her dad’s first wedding ring went into making both the bride and groom’s bands. After 40 years of farming, it had worn so thin his wife wanted to give him a new version of the very same ring, passing down the gold from that old band into a new beginning.
Oh, this day was rich in family history! From those heirloom bands to the borrowed ruby ring and blue accented handkerchief from the bride’s grandma.
More favorites from their wedding:
How the words “I’ll never have to say another good bye at the end of the day” were spoken in their vows
A visit to the bride’s grandmother’s nursing home made for the sweetest first stop for the newlyweds
The Irish blessings made with nearly every toast
Those cream colored bridesmaid dresses!
And how the couple entered their reception to the Washington State University fight song (GO COUGS!)
