Married last year in an intimate ceremony amidst the pandemic, it was time to celebrate with all they love in a place they love for this Farm 12 wedding!

The winding road that leads you through downtown Puyallup and suddenly, open valley views, is a favorite way to travel to this venue. There’s something that sets the stage for a Farm 12 wedding when the paths you travel run through neighboring farms that contribute to the menu! Embracing the community through seasonal, farm fresh food is one of many things to admire about it.

Saving some of the best parts of a wedding celebration for their next big day, Genelyn and Lucas shared dances and played games with loved ones they’d been waiting to embrace. Something else they shared for was a first look, and waiting for this chance for togetherness may have made it all the more meaningful. Genelyn carries reminders of her grandma and parents by wearing gold from their rings; an everyday legacy to shape her own with Lucas. He’s the love she first met in high school math class, but it wasn’t until reconnecting later in life their friendship developed into something more. A coffee date turned into a dinner date and the rest, as they say, is history! Here’s to honoring one year married and a lifetime to come.
