Somewhere to stop for the perfect ocean view, ask the question of a lifetime, then celebrate the start to sharing one. The Fairmont Orchid set the stage for this Hawaiian destination wedding!

Courtney and Brett’s relationship began much like this golden piece of their story. He worked in game presentation, she in partnership marketing for an NBA team; and friendship led to something more. Career paths and eventually, a cross-country move landed them in the same city!

He loves her passion and drive, and she loves his kindness and thoughtfulness. As a result, they make the sweetest couple! When they aren’t traveling and working in their dream jobs, they adventure outdoors and enjoy quiet moments at home. In sum, they believe the best of times are spent simply together.

The Big Island is Courtney’s home away from home; notably, it is somewhere Brett always knew he’d ask her to marry him. A hike along the Kohala Coast brought them to a lookout where he proposed. And it just happens to be steps away from where they’d be married. Fast forward to their wedding, a beautiful display of all they love in a place they love! From the signaling sound of a Pū to sunset torch lighting, Courtney and Brett shared island traditions to honor the gift of this day with their guests! Indeed, every moment sparkled with love and radiated happiness.
